The Islands Cleanup, is the 3rd edition of the yearly cleanup campaign conducted by the Ministry for Environment, Energy and Enterprise. This year it will be in collaboration with Project Green and Saving Our Blue.
For the third year running, this campaign has become synonymous with groups and individuals who would like to volunteer their time to help make our country cleaner and greener. Such cleanup campaigns demonstrate the importance of reducing, recycling, reusing and ultimately, responsibly disposing of the waste that we generate. Over these past years, from this campaign alone, more than 2,500 tonnes of waste were collected from our beaches, valleys and other open spaces in the countryside.
In this year’s edition, Project Green in collaboration with the Saving Our Blue campaign, are also working to raise awareness on the importance of protecting our valleys, coastal and marine environments from the devastating impacts of littering.
By registering, you will be provided with all the tools necessary for your cleanup and at the end of the campaign, you and your team will also receive a certificate of participation.

Il-kampanja Islands Cleanup, hija t-tielet edizzjoni tal-kampanja ta’ tindif li titnieda kull sena mill-Ministeru għall-Ambjent, l-Enerġija u l-Intrapriża.
Din is-sena qed tiġi organizzata b’kollaborazzjoni ma’ Project Green u Saving Our Blue. Għat-tielet sena konsekuttiva, din il-kampanja saret sinonima ma’ gruppi u individwi li jivvolontarjaw il-ħin tagħhom biex inaddfu u jħaddru pajjiżna. Dawn il-kampanji ta’ tindif juru l-importanza tat-tnaqqis, tar-riċiklaġġ, ir-riutilizzar tal-iskart u fl-aħħar mill-aħħar li niddisponu mill-iskart li niġġeneraw b’mod responsabbli. Tul l-aħħar snin, minn din il-kampanja waħedha, inġabru aktar minn 2,500 tunnellata skart minn bajjiet, widien u spazji oħrajn fil-kampanja.
F’din l-edizzjoni, Project Green flimkien mal-kampanja Saving Our Blue qed jaħdmu biex jiżdied l-għarfien dwar l-importanza tal-protezzjoni tal-widien, kosti u l-ambjent marittimu mill-ħsara devastanti tal-iskart. Irreġistra biex tingħata l-għodda kollha li se tigi bżonn għat-tindif flimkien ma’ ċertifikat ta’ parteċipazzjoni fl-aħħar tal-kampanja.
