Revitalizing Simar Nature Reserve: A Comprehensive Buffer Zone Restoration Initiative by Project Green”

Project Green is pleased to announce a project aimed at rehabilitating the buffer zone of Simar Nature Reserve, which is currently in a state of neglect and littered with waste. This initiative will involve the installation of:

  • Security systems
  • Repair of boundary walls
  • Gates and fences
  • Pruning and maintenance of existing trees
  • Creation of permeable pathways
  • Installation of garden furniture and information panels
  • Establishment of a drip irrigation system
  • Provision of public conveniences

 

This project is one of 16 initiatives funded by the Community Greening Grant. The tender for this project will be released to the public soon, marking the beginning of this important restoration effort
